Aston Villa are surprising me again at the moment. It will be interesting to see how the next few weeks go with them starting their Champions League fixtures.
But they have so much firepower with Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran at their disposal and I’ve loved Unai Emery’s tactics so far. I underestimated them at the start of the season, but now they could break into the Champions League spots again during this campaign. So, I expect Villa to win comfortably here.
Wycombe have a tradition of doing well in the Cup, but I can’t see them getting anything in this game. Villa will shut them out completely.
Duran has been unstoppable off the bench, scoring four goals in five Premier League games. Because he’s so young, he’s going to get better and better. I like his mindset and would like to see if they can play him and Watkins together in the future. I can see him getting on the scoresheet here.
