This is a bit of a tricky one for Liverpool. AC Milan have been on the peripheries of late, they’ve been up and down and they had a change of ownership a few years ago.
They’re not the team that they were in at their height. Rafael Leao is obviously a threat, but I fancy Liverpool to go to the San Siro and get a draw.
Everyone’s worried about the style of play and how Arne Slot would fit it, and it’s gone better than people expected. And I think that will continue.
The 0-1 loss over the weekend at home to Nottingham Forest was a blip, and I don’t think there’s anything Liverpool fans should be worried about.
I see them going there, getting a point on the board.
I think it’ll be a high-scoring game. Both teams like to play on the front foot, I going to go for a 2-2 finish. It’s a punt, but I’m thinking we’ll see a few goals here.
Liverpool can get some positive here but I don’t see them winning.
I’d fancy Mo Salah to score.
At the back end of last season, the uncertainty around Jurgen Klopp seemed to really affect Salah, you could tell he was a bit sluggish at times, he must’ve been thinking about where the club was going to be.
But he’s started the season really well, he’s back to his very best and that’s great to see for us fans watching the Premier League. He’s still one of the best players in the world, we mustn’t forget that.
