Lyon edged out Lens in the race for UEFA Europa League qualification last season as they finished sixth and seventh respectively.
Lens missed out on a place in the Conference League for the new league phase, but they are unbeaten in three league games, with Lyon winning just one from three.
The hosts have won against Brest and Panathinaikos at home so far in 2024/25, and they look a more stable option than Lyon, whose only points this season came from a wild 4-3 home victory over Strasbourg before the international break.
Monza v Inter Milan

Monza are yet to win a game so far this season under the leadership of new boss Alessandro Nesta. However, as you would expect from a team trained under the watchful eye of the former Italian international, they have been quite solid defensively.
Three successive clean sheets opened the campaign, before conceding twice in a 2-2 draw at Fiorentina, with Moise Kean’s late goal robbing them of three points in Florence.
Inter Milan may nick a win, but if Monza can stick to Nesta’s plan, the hosts will make them work for it on Sunday night.
Marcus Thuram to score
France star Marcus Thuram netted 13 Serie A goals in his debut campaign as Inter Milan clinched the Italian title last season. However, he looks primed to beat that tally in the coming months, with four goals already from three starts.
He also netted in this fixture last season as Inter won 5-1 on the road at Monza.
Atletico Madrid v Valencia

Diego Simeone splashed the cash over the summer and it has been a solid start to the season for Atletico Madrid who are unbeaten in their opening four games of the campaign.
Defensively, they look rock solid, with three successive clean sheets ahead of this game, and with Valencia yet to win a game so far this season, it looks like a home win in Madrid.
Antoine Griezmann to score or assist
Despite the big-money arrivals of Julian Alvarez and Alexander Sorloth, it has been some of Simeone’s old guard impressing in the opening stages of the campaign, with Antoine Griezmann and Marcos Llorente top for combined goals and assists with three each.
Griezmann remains central to everything about Simeone’s team and he loves playing against Valencia with a goal scored in three of his last five games against Los Che.
