The home side are still searching for their first win of the season after drawing two and losing one of their outings. MK Dons, meanwhile, come into the clash on the back of their 3-0 win against Carlisle after losing their opening two matches.
Our first bet of the evening is Over 2.5 Goals. MK Dons’ games this season are averaging 2.7 goals per outing and while Salford’s tally is lower at 1.3 goals per match, we reckon the away side will score a couple of times on their travels.
MK Dons will be full of confidence after their win last time out and they’ve beaten Salford in their last two meetings including a 4-2 win at the Peninsula last campaign. We’re expecting goals!
MK Dons to Win
MK Dons were tipped for the title and automatic promotion before the start of the season, however, they’ve drifted slightly after their opening two losses.
After a slow start, Mike Williamson will be hoping his side have turned the corner and they can string some wins together.
MK Dons are already seven points behind league leaders Gillingham and they won’t want to lose any more ground on their promotion rivals. They should have too much for their counterparts, who have scored just once and conceded three in their three outings so far this season.

We’ve mentioned we’re keen on an away win on Monday night and there could be value in backing a Correct Score of 1-2.
MK Dons will be expecting to net a couple of times after Salford’s dismal start to the campaign, however, the home side will put up a fight in front of their fans.
Their 1-1 draw at Chesterfield, despite going down to 10 men for the last 20 minutes, will have been a major positive for Karl Robinson’s men. They might get on the scoresheet but they’ll struggle to do any more than that!
