Union Berlin v St. Pauli
Bundesliga match at Stadion An der Alten Försterei, Berlin
TV: Sky Sports Mix, Friday, 7:30pm
Under 2.5 goals
Union Berlin just about staved off relegation last season and their start to the new campaign featured a late 1-1 draw at Mainz on the opening weekend.
St. Pauli are back in the big time for the first time since 2010/11 but they lost 2-0 at home to Heidenheim in their opener. This clash is unlikely to be a goal fest, based on last weekend’s results, with a relegation battle expected for both teams in 2025.
Dundalk v Shelbourne
Irish Premier Division match at Oriel Park, Dundalk
TV: LOITV, Friday, 7:45pm
Under 2.5 total goals
Dundalk are facing up to the sobering possibility of top-flight relegation for the first time since 2001/02 as the League of Ireland Premier Division enters its final straight.
Five points from safety is not an unchangeable position, but they need to produce something special, and quickly, to fight for survival in the coming weeks.
They host a Shelbourne side on Friday night, who are also winless in their last three games, as they chase Derry City in the title race. All of Dundalk’s last three have featured under 2.5 goals with two of Shelbourne’s last three in league action coming under that mark.

Galway United v Derry City
Irish Premier Division match at the Eamonn Deacy Park, Galway
TV: LOITV, Friday, 7:45pm
Derry City to win
In stark contrast to Dundalk, Derry City are pushing for a first top-flight title since 1996/97, after finishing runners up to Shamrock Rovers in the last two seasons.
Derry and Shelbourne have pulled clear as the top two, and they will go stride-for-stride in the weeks ahead and the Candystripes need a win in Galway keep up the momentum.
They face a Galway side unbeaten in their last eight home league games, so it will be no easy task, but the leaders have lost just once on the road in their last five in league action.
Inter Milan v Atalanta
Serie A match at the San Siro, Milan
TV: One Football, Friday, 7:45pm
Inter Milan to win and both teams to score
Inter Milan’s title defence sees them unbeaten after the first two games following an opening 2-2 draw at Genoa and a 2-0 home win against Lecce.
Simone Inzaghi’s holders look in good shape so far, but a clash with Atalanta will present a Friday night test at the San Siro, after a mixed start for Gian Piero Gasperini’s team.
Atalanta have won one and lost one in Serie A this season, scoring in both, but Inter Milan have not lost a home league game in 11 months.
Lyon v Strasbourg
Ligue 1match at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon
TV: Ligue 1 Pass, Friday, 7:45pm
Under 3.5 goals
Wrapping up this Friday night acca we have a trip to Lyon as Pierre Sage’s struggling side host Strasbourg. Successive defeats in their opening two games of the campaign has Sage under a little pressure.
They are yet to score a goal this season, with five conceded, and this game looks likely to be a low-scorer against a Strasbourg team who were the joint-third lowest away scorers in Ligue 1 last season.
