Football Accumulator Tips: Our 15/1 shout for Saturday’s Olympics action

Our tipster James Walters reckons he's found some value in Saturday's Olympics markets.

Saturday’s Football Accumulator Tips:

14:00: Argentina v Iraq – Both Teams To Score
14:00: Dominican Republic v Spain – Spain -1
16:00: Ukraine v Morocco – Morocco to Win
20:00: France v Guinea – France -1
20:00: Japan v Mali – Japan to Win

14:00: Argentina v Iraq – Both Teams To Score

Saturday sees the Men’s Olympics football action return so we had to put together an acca for you lucky lot didn’t we!

First up is Argentina v Iraq and although Julian Alvarez and Co. are the favourites to win, we’re staying away from picking a winner.

Argentina lost their opener 2-1 against Morocco but the clash turned into a farce after their equaliser was ruled out by VAR nearly two hours after the match had finished. Morocco fans stormed the pitch and threw bottles from the stands, with Argentina boss Javier Mascherano calling it ‘a circus’.

While Mascherano’s side should have more quality as well as having more quality, there’s more value in backing Both Teams To Score.

Iraq beat Ukraine 2-1 in their opening fixture and they’ll have a bit of confidence that they can turn over two-time gold medal winners Argentina.

14:00: Dominican Republic v Spain – Spain -1

Spain got the job done against Uzbekistan last time out in a 2-1 win after ex-Manchester City man Sergio Gomez netted the winner.

Despite winning, Spain had less shots and shots on target, while they only just edged the possession stats against Uzbekistan.

Spain will be desperate to bounce back with a better performance and they’re heavily odds-on to beat Dominican Republic, who played out a 0-0 draw with Egypt in their opening game.

Instead of backing Spain to win at the short odds, we’re siding with them on the -1 Handicap, which means we need them to win by two or more goals.

16:00: Ukraine v Morocco – Morocco to Win

We’ve mentioned Morocco’s win against Argentina in their opening game and they’ll fancy their chances of securing another victory on Saturday.

Morocco matched Argentina for shots on target last time out and they’re to afraid to get stuck in, as their six yellow cards shows.

Ukraine suffered defeat against Iraq, despite being the favourites to win that clash, after they conceded twice in the second half in a 2-1 loss.

We’re siding with Morocco to Win as they look to top their group ahead of Argentina and Iraq.

20:00: France v Guinea – France -1

The hosts put on a show in their opening fixture as Thierry Henry’s side beat USA 3-0, with Alexandre Lacazette, Michael Olise and Loic Bade getting on the scoresheet.

France are the favourites to win the gold medal this summer in front of their home crowd and it’s hard to oppose them.

They will have far too much quality for Guinea, who lost 2-1 against New Zealand in their opening game. However, instead of backing them to win, France -1 on the Handicap is a better value selection.

20:00: Japan v Mali – Japan to Win

Finally, we’re focusing on Japan v Mali.

Japan hammered Paraguay 5-0 last time out and they’ll be full of confidence heading into Saturday’s showdown.

They face Mali, who played out a 1-1 draw against Israel in their opening group game, and Japan have a great chance of securing top spot in their group. Expect them to come out and control the match quickly.
