Fabian Ruiz to have 2+ shots

Ruiz has had a fantastic tournament so far, he has been one of the standout players for this successful Spanish team and one of the key aspects of that has been the way that he has threatened the opposition box regularly. Fabian Ruiz has taken 13 shots at the tournament so far, hitting the two or more shot mark in three of the four matches that he has played.

Over Spain’s last 30 international matches, he averages 2.85 shots per 90, well over the required mark here. In what promises to be a tight match, it often requires a late move into the box, or a shot from afar to try and break down such a tight defence as France’s, and Ruiz may be the man to do that for Spain.

Rodri to be fouled 1+ times

Usually known to be someone who commits the fouls rather than receives them, Rodri has been fouled regularly at this tournament. He has started four matches, missing one as a result of suspension, and has been fouled seven times. All seven came in three matches, two against Croatia and Italy, and three against Germany. The only match where Rodri wasn’t fouled was against Georgia in the Round of 16.

Rodri will be up against the likes of N’Golo Kante, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Adrien Rabiot, all of whom are high-pressing, physically capable midfielders who will look to rush Rodri, if possible, and this could contribute to someone fouling the Manchester City man.

Aurelien Tchouameni to have 2+ shots

The Real Madrid midfielder has been making a habit of getting shots away in this tournament. He already had a penchant for shooting from distance of course, those who remember his goal against England in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar will already know this, but he has taken it to another level in this tournament. His success rate has been very poor, firing too many into the stands, but hopefully, this will not deter the 24-year-old from trying again here.

He has taken 11 shots in four matches in this tournament, an average of 2.59 shots per 90, while each of his matches so far have seen Tchouameni take at least two shots in the game – three against the Netherlands, two against Poland, four against Belgium, and two against Portugal.

Alvaro Morata to commit 1+ fouls

The Spanish centre-forward is also his nation’s captain for the tournament, and even though he hasn’t led by example in terms of goals scored, he has been full of endeavour and effort. This sometimes has meant that he has been overzealous in terms of getting himself into trouble with the referee. In the four matches that he has started, Morata has committed a total of nine fouls, at an average of 2.62 fouls per 90.

The chances are that Morata won’t complete the 90 minutes, as he hasn’t done so far in the tournament, but the good news is that he has managed to foul at least twice before leaving the pitch on every occasion that he has started so far, which gives this leg of the bet builder a great chance of collecting.
