We saw what Slovenia were like in the group game against England – five at the back, defending deep. It will be hard for Portugal.
I can’t see Slovenia scoring, although they do compete well.
I just hope Ronaldo comes with his shooting boots on! He got so frustrated in that 2-0 defeat to Georgia, dived all over the place, and ended up getting substituted.
I was gobsmacked when he was through on goal and squared it for someone else to put into the empty net in an earlier group game. It was bewildering – he’d normally shoot from the halfway line from the kick-off!
You have to fancy Portugal to win this, but I don’t think it’s going to be a goal fest.
I’m going for Portgual to win 1-0.
