Switzerland v Italy – The Draw

Switzerland and Italy are nations who are well versed in knockout football and this has a Draw in the 90 minutes written all over it. If we think back to Euro 2020, the Swiss stunned the French on penalties before losing to Spain via the same method in the quarters.
Italy haven’t looked great and were perhaps lucky to avoid a third-placed finish thanks to a last-gasp equaliser against Croatia in their final group game. Both sides will take this into the trenches. Anyone for penalties?
Germany v Denmark – Germany Win & Under 3.5 Goals

Denmark made it to the Last 16 thanks to three dull draws while Germany have been impressive, sweeping aside Scotland and Germany before a stalemate with the Swiss.
I’m not sure Denmark have enough to hold Germany but it’s unlikely this will be a rout. We’re getting a great price on Germany to Win & Under 3.5 Goals in this game.
England v Slovakia – BTTS? No & Under 2.5 Goals

England look set to continue their plan of grinding it out against Slovakia – and that’s exactly what the Slovaks will be hoping for. The Three Lions somehow topped the awful Group C while Slovakia scrambled to third in Group E thanks, largely, to that shock 1-0 win over Belgium in their opener.
This will surely be one for the purists, even if Gareth Southgate has had some obvious improvements to his starting line-up handed to him on a plate in the last game. Both Teams To Score? No & Under 2.5 Goals has clicked in three of these two’s six Euro 2024 games.
