Celebrate good times, come on! Euro 2024 is into the final round of group games and Paddy’s pal Mark Lawrenson’s champing at the bit to get stuck into the crunch clashes in Germany.
Instead of kicking back and getting ready for the new club season he’s answered the international call and will be delivering his Euro 2024 predictions every bloomin’ day of the tournament right here on Paddy Power News.
Monday sees sees Group B reach it’s conclusion with Croatia and Italy battling it out to finish second. Spain are through and they’re unlikely to give Albania much hope of sneaking into the knockouts.
It’s looking like another belting day so here’s how Lawro thinks it’s all going to go down with his crafty calls added in to a dishy double for good measure. Take it away, Lawro.

I fancy Albania v Spain to be very one sided. I know Albania need a win to stay alive in the tournament but that will probably just make it easier for this Spain side who have been the best on show in the competition so far.
Their finishing has let them down but I fancy them to get loads of chances in this game. It’s over for Albania, who have put up a good fight to be fair to them, but I’ll go 3-0. Spain to Win and Over 2.5 Goals in the game looks a good bet.
I’ll definitely be watching Croatia v Italy on Monday night, this could get a bit tetchy. No, very tetchy! Italy have not been at their best but they’re good at scrapping.
They seem to be able to get what they need when they need it. Croatia have to win or they’re going home but there can’t be many worse sides to face in those circumstances than Italy. Italy will be home and hosed with a Draw and I can see this being 1-1 with an all-action ending.
