Both sides come into their second Euro 2024 match on the back of opening victories. Spain demolished Croatia 3-0 while Italy were made to work for their 2-1 win over Albania.
Paddy’s pal, Phil Thompson has plenty of praise for two of Spain’s players in particular, let’s get his thoughts on how they’ll fare against the Azzurri.

I don’t think either of these are having a great time of it – particularly Italy. You don’t know what you’re going to get from them.
Have Spain got a decent striker? Is Alvaro Morata good enough? Well, he’s proving everybody wrong.
Oh and Lamine Yamal. He’s 16 years of age. 16! What a talent he is.
Spain have scored 16 goals in their last four games. They’re no slouches in that department.
Italy lost that goal against Albania after 23 seconds, but they still came back to win 2-1.
I fancy Spain to come out on top. I think they’ll win 2-0.
I think Alvaro Morata is out to prove people wrong, and that he can score regularly. I’ll take him to score here.
