In the qualifying stages, Kylian Mbappe contributed 14 goals and assists in seven starts – averaging 1.92 goal contributions per 90 minutes. He was able to register either a goal or assist in six of his seven starts – the France captain deserves immense credit for these remarkable numbers. To further signify his importance for Les Bleus, Mbappe was afforded a rest in their most recent friendly against Canada, and France failed to score.
Prior to that, Deschamps’ men overcame Luxembourg 3-0 in the other June friendly. Mbappe started and registered a goal along with two assists.
Meanwhile, Ragnick faces challenges without regular captain David Alaba, and defensive midfielder Xaver Schlager. This should only work to increase the spaces in behind for France, which can be taken advantage of by talisman Mbappe.
Aurelien Tchoumeni to have 1 or more Shots on Target
Looking into the eight Euro Qualifying games for France, Aurelien Tchoumeni had the third-most shots for France behind Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann. He was able to start five games and managed a total of 14 shots at an average of 2.83 shots per 90 minutes.
Although he was slightly wayward, with just four shots on target, he is certainly afforded a bit more attacking freedom under Deschamps, so the price for a shot on target stands out.
Given his willingness to pull the trigger from distance, and his constant threat from set-pieces, his price of 2.3 for a shot on target looks excellent value. Since the World Cup, Tchoumeni has had at least one shot in eight out of nine games, with a shot on target landing against Netherlands and Germany.

Marcel Sabitzer to have 1 or more Shots on Target
Despite starting just three of his seven appearances, Marcel Sabitzer amassed 17 shots in the qualifiers for Austria. His average of 2.43 shots per game was the second-highest in the Austrian ranks for the qualifiers, which signifies his importance at the front end.
Sabitzer was instrumental for Dortmund, a massive contributor to their run to the final in the Champions League. In the Bundesliga, he started 23 games and had an average of 0.92 shots on target per 90 minutes. The majority of his shots came from outside the box, whilst Sabitzer also converted a penalty, and was on free-kick duties.
Although shots might be scarce against France, Sabitzer will likely have a lot of freedom as an attacking midfielder to take advantage of chances when they arise.
Konrad Laimer to Commit 1 or more Fouls
Konrad Laimer was penalised for fouls in five of his six starting appearances for Austria during the qualifiers. His only foul-free game was against Estonia, and he was substituted at the 40-minute mark due to an injury.
Given his central midfield position, Laimer has a crucial role in exerting pressure and restraining France who are technically proficient in midfield – it won’t be an easy task. Expecting France to dominate proceedings, they should dominate possession which leaves Laimer with a lot of defending to do, especially in the absence of Xaver Schlager.
