Spain, of course, were back-to-back winners in 2008 and 2012 and they’re up against the World Cup 2022 bronze medalists Croatia.

I look at Spain and think to myself, who will score the goals? Well, we know all about Alvaro Morata from his time in the Premier League, and it seems like he’ll be starting up front.
They’ve had a few big scores over their friendlies, beating Northern Ireland 5-1 recently and have scored 13 goals over their last three internationals, so they’re certainly not bad, whoever they play up front.
Croatia are the big party poopers. Luka Modric is still there, he scored in their last friendly.
In midfield, they’ve also got Marcelo Brozovic, Mateo Kovacic, and of course, Modric and they’ve still got the legs, they’ve still a decent outfit.
They beat Portugal in their last friendly but I think it’ll be tight here, there won’t be much in it, so I’m going for Spain to Win 1-0.
Spain’s attacking options aren’t what they used to be and they will struggle in front of goal, but I’ll back Alvaro Morata to Score the only goal as he’ll be leading the line.
The above two picks are my best bets for the game, but if I was going to make a Bet Builder I’d add Both Teams to score – No as I think Spain will keep a clean sheet.
I’ll also have former Manchester City and now Barcelona boy Ferran Torres to have 1 or more Shots on Target, and the ex-Leicester City player Andrej Kramaric to have 1 or more Shots on Target.
