Real Madrid deserve to be favourites here and I know it’s the Bundesliga versus La Liga and they’re both huge leagues in their own right but you’ve got one team who has won the Spanish league by 10 points while the other finished fifth in the Bundesliga.
So, who’s the winner going to be, it shouldn’t even really be a question.
Of course, I’ll be going for Real to win this but, we all backed Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League Final and backed Man City in their quarter-final against Real Madrid in the Champions League so there’s always the possibility of an underdog win and Borussia Dortmund will fancy their chances.
Real only lost one game all season and only conceded 26 goals which is quite phenomenal. And, of course, we all remember those late winners from Stoke City legend Joselu against Bayern in the semifinal, scoring in the 88th and 91st minute. Getting late goals is exactly what Real Madrid do.
Dortmund’s season finished two weeks ago so they’ll be well rested and won their final game of the season 4-0 at home against Darmstadt. They’ll be feeling good and they rested most of their best players for that final league match.
I reckon both teams will score here, I really like Mats Hummels at centre back, he looks very threatening from set plays, I see this one ending 1-3 to Real Madrid. I’m also backing Vinicius Junior to Score.
