Man City v West Ham
Sunday, 4pm, Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester
TV: Sky Sports Main Event

It’s a shame to say it ahead of the final day but I just can’t see anything other than a City win.

They played poorly enough against Spurs on Tuesday night and still got the job done.

And West Ham do have players that can hurt you, but they’ve not been the same team we’ve seen before over the last few months.

So you really can’t see anything other that that festival-type atmosphere at Etihad and another league title for City.

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND – MAY 20: Manchester City supporters celebrate their side winning the Premier League title with a cardboard cutout of Josep ‘Pep’ Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, wearing a Viking-themed helmet featuring the name of Erling Haaland following Arsenal’s 1-0 loss away at Nottingham Forest, at Etihad Stadium on May 20, 2023 in Manchester, England. There have been a few great final days and we all want to see drama – West Ham even stopped United winning the league way back when Andy Cole missed a load of chances.

And with it being the last day of the season, you’re wondering if that gets to either of the teams. If West Ham could get an early goal it’d be great for the spectacle, but you’re hoping more than expecting.

City are so professional too, you can’t see the occasion affecting them. They’ve won so much before so they shouldn’t be affected really.

Erling Haaland to score

I wouldn’t rule out a few for Erling Haaland on the final day. He’s pulled clear in the Golden Boot and might just settle for one, but I definitely fancy him to get on the scoresheet.

DON’T FORGET – Paddy’s Super Sub means that if your player selection goes off, your bet rolls on to their replacement – magic!

Phil Foden to score or assist

Phil Foden’s probably due a goal too, and if he doesn’t score there’s every chance he’s setting one up for somebody else, so Foden to score or assist makes sense to me in this.

Jarrod Bowen to have 1 or more shots on target

I’ve really enjoyed watching Jarrod Bowen this season. In  him and Mohamed Kudus West Ham have a couple lively forwards, and James Ward-Prowse is always a threat from set-pieces for them.

Bowen’s the real danger man though with his pace and if West Ham threaten City’s goal, it’ll most likely involve him.

Arsenal v Everton
Sunday, 4pm, Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium, London
TV: TNT Sports 1

Everton are safe but they’ll ant to got out on a high all the same. Someone said to me the other day that it’d be classic Sean Dyche sh*thousery to go and get a result there that’d cost Arsenal the league.

But I cannot really  see that either, frankly.

Arsenal have been unbelievable and it’s so unlucky for them to lose the league by two points given how well they’ve played since the turn of the year.

Mikel Arteta deserves so much praise, and the recruitment has been spot-on too. They’ve hardly put a foot wrong.

They might think about some of the games where Havertz started in midfield and they dropped points but it just shows how fine the margins are when City are playing so well.

Bukayo Saka to score

I think Arsenal will win and it will be comfortable. Bukayo Saka’s had a great season and you’d expect him to score if Arsenal get a few here.

Declan Rice to have 1 or more shots on target

Declan Rice has got a few goals recently too and has been a huge addition for them this season.

He’s worth including for a shot on target as well on Sunday.
