Tuesday’s Footy Acca Betting Tips

7:30pm Rangers v Dundee – Rangers Over 2.5 Goals
8pm Spurs v Man City – Man City to Win & Over 3.5 Goals
8:30pm Real Madrid v Alaves – Real Madrid to Win to Nil
9pm Girona v Villarreal – Over 3.5 Goals

Rangers v Dundee FC – Rangers Over 2.5 Goals

Premiership match at Ibrox Park, Glasgow
TV: Sky Sports Football, Tuesday, 7:30pm

Rangers manager Philippe Clement will be demanding a strong response from his side following their 2-1 loss away to Celtic on Saturday. The hosts have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five fixtures in all competitions while at home in the league share the same results, scoring 16 and conceding seven.

Dundee have collected a grand total of two points over their last six games and their away form reads as one win, one draw, and three losses, scoring four goals while conceding 13. Rangers could run riot here, so we’re backing them to win and to see at least three goals being scored.

Spurs v Man City – Man City to Win & Over 3.5 Goals

Premier League match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
TV: Sky Sports Premier League/Main Event, Tuesday, 8pm

Remember when we all thought Spurs were going to have a hand in the title race? Well, they have in that they handed three points to both Arsenal and Liverpool and will probably hand over three points to City here too. The hosts have won just one of their last five in the league, losing the other four. Their home results of four wins and one loss look good but they’ve only beaten Luton, Nottingham Forest, and Burnley so nothing really to be shouting about.

Yet, saying all that Spurs are the closest thing the Premier League has to a bogey team for Man City. City have only beaten them once away since their move to their new digs and that was an FA Cup match – Spurs have won all four other head-to-heads.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have scored six over their last five in the league and 12 over their last five at home so we should certainly see them scoring.

Man City have won seven on the trot in the Premier League, scoring 28 goals over those matches. Their away league form has seen Pep Guardiola’s side win four and draw one of their last five, scoring 15 times. City will be out-scoring Spurs here and with both teams in strong goal-scoring form, we reckon we’ll see a minimum of four goals scored.

Real Madrid v Alaves – Real Madrid to Win to Nil

La Liga match at the Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid
TV: LaLiga TV, Premier Sports, Tuesday, 8:30pm

Following their 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League last Wednesday, Los Blancos returned to league action with a 0-4 thumping of Granada. Their La Liga form has seen them winning eight in a row, while on home soil have won nine and drawn one, winning all five of their most recent, scoring 13 and keeping four clean sheets.

Alaves’ away form is pretty bad, they’ve won just one of their last five on their Spanish excursions, drawing one, and losing three but, to make matters more daunting for them, they only scored a single goal over those five matches. Couple this with Carlo Ancelotti’s side keeping so many clean sheets and Real to Win to Nil has some rather juicy odds here.

Girona v Villarreal – Over 3.5 Goals

La Liga match at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi, Girona
TV: LaLiga TV, Premier Sports, Tuesday, 9pm

Both sides come into this La Liga clash sharing the same recent results. Both have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five matches. At home, Girona have won nine and drawn one over their last five, winning all of their most recently played games, scoring a healthy 16 goals while conceding five.

Villarreal have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five on their travels, scoring 11 while conceding eight. We’ve seen Over 3.5 Goals landing in three of the last five home/away league games for both sides and with both in such ripe goal-scoring form we’re backing the trend to continue.
