Bournemouth v Brentford – Over 2.5 Goals

This game is effectively a dead rubber at this point with a win or defeat not really pushing the needle for either team, something that often means either a lot of goals or very little, we believe that there should be plenty.

We have seen Over 2.5 Goals occurring in five of Bournemouth’s past six games at home and Dominic Solanke and we can’t forget he’s bagged 18 times this season. Likewise, Brentford games have seen Over 2.5 Goals in five of their last six on the road. Everything projects to this being a high-scoring game.

Everton v Sheffield United – Under 2.5 Goals

It doesn’t matter that Sheffield United are the worst team in the Premier League this season and it doesn’t matter that last week they hit 100 goals conceded, we are still taking Under 2.5 Goals here.

The issue isn’t what is at the back for the Blades, it’s what’s up front for both teams. Both sides have arguably improved in an attacking sense across recent weeks but these are the two teams who have scored the fewest goals in the league this season, with Everton scoring 38 in 36 games, and the Blades just 35.

Newcastle v Brighton – Alexander Isak to Score

Brighton may have won last week but they’ve been on a bad run recently and they had gone six games without a win before beating Aston Villa. The four games before that win were a 1-1 draw, two 3-0 defeats, and a 4-0 defeat, with the team struggling defensively.

You don’t want to struggle at the back when you’re playing Alexander Isak who has elevated himself to being one of the Premier League’s best strikers this season. He’s scored 20 goals in the league but crucially he’s been very good at home, scoring 10 in just 13 Premier League games at St James’ Park.

Tottenham v Burnley – Both Teams to Score

Burnley are still, mathematically at least, not relegated and they’ll have to go for broke against Spurs. We know that Spurs are very susceptible to conceding goals, having conceded 58 this season, more than any other club in the top six, but they’re also very good at scoring too.

Burnley’s desperation for goals is likely to play into the hands of Tottenham, who will also be able to get on the scoresheet. So far this season we’ve seen Both teams to Score land in 15 of Spurs’ 17 home games, including their last 13 in a row.

West Ham v Luton – Both Teams to Score

We are likely to see goals at the London Stadium on Saturday with David Moyes looking to end his spell at the club well and Luton in critical need of a win to keep their Premier League hopes alive. With West Ham conceding at least two goals in each of their previous four games then surely Luton have a chance.

Whether they can win is something we can’t predict but goals should come, after all, despite being in the relegation zone they’ve scored 49 in 36 games, with six teams either scoring the same or less than them, it’s their leaky defence that’s been the issue. Both Teams to Score has landed in 10 of their past 11 Premier League games on the road and five of West Ham’s past six at home.

Wolves v Crystal Palace – Jean-Philippe Mateta to Score

Oliver Glasner has made a real impression in South London since arriving at Crystal Palace and despite being in the bottom half of the table, they are the second-most in-form team behind Man City over the past five games. They’ve won four games and drawn one over those games and now face a Wolves team with three defeats in four and who looked to have totally given up against Man City last weekend when they got hammered 5-1.

If Wolves’ players are already on the beach then it’s only going to play into the hands of Palace and in particular, Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has come to life under the new management and now has 12 Premier League goals for the season, with nine of those goals coming under Glasner, in just 11 games. His hot streak has really ignited in the past couple of weeks with five in his last four appearances.
