They were unlucky to come away from the Kassam Stadium with nothing after having more shots and more shots on target than the hosts.
The Posh are unbeaten against Oxford in their previous five home meetings, winning three and drawing two. Although they need two goals to overturn the deficit, I expect the home side to win on the night at the very least. Therefore, I am backing Peterborough To Win.

This fixture doesn’t have a great recent record for goals with only one of the last five games seeing both teams on the scoresheet. The home team has won the game to nil in all three meetings this season, while Oxford have failed to score on their last two visits to the Weston Homes Stadium.

As Peterborough need to score to claw the tie back into their favour, they will look to left winger Ephron Mason-Clark to grab the goal. The loanee from Coventry City has found the net 19 times this season in all competitions.
Expect the hosts to get on the front foot early and create plenty of chances, with Mason-Clark getting the lion’s share of opportunities to be the hero for the Posh. Cameron Brannagan To Be Booked
You can expect the referee to brandish a few cards in a game where both teams fight tooth and nail for victory. Oxford will be determined to hold to their 1-0 advantage, which could lead to them conceding some cynical fouls and a player or two landing in the book.
