Columbus Crew v CF Montreal – Columbus Crew to Win
MLS match at Lower.com Field, Columbus
TV: AppleTV, Sunday, 12:30am
Columbus Crew’s results haven’t been great of late, drawing all four of their most recent fixtures, however, we should note that in three of those draws they came back to rescue a point from losing positions. On home soil, they’ve won three and drawn two of their home league games this far, scoring nine and conceding four.
Montreal have won just one of their last five in the MLS, drawing one, and losing three while on the road have won two and lost all three of their most previously played away matches. Columbus’ home form should make all the difference here, so we’re backing the hosts to win.
Cincinnati v Colorado Rapids – Colorado Rapids and Draw
MLS match at TQL Stadium, Cincinnati
TV: AppleTV, Sunday, 12:30am
It’s fourth from the Western Conference taking on third in the Eastern staning here and there have only been four losses between the sides over their combined 18 MLS matches. The hosts have won two, drawn one, and lost two over their last five while on home soil have won one, drawn two, and lost one.
The Rapids have won three, drawn one, and lost one of late while on their travels have won two, drawn two, and lost one, scoring nine and conceding eight. Colorado’s record in front of goal is far superior to their opponents here but we have to say that Cincinnati have shown glimpses of improvement of late. Usually, we’d back the away side here but there’s still a decent price in backing them in the Double Chance market.
New England Revolution v Inter Miami – Inter Miami to Win
MLS match at Gillette Stadium, Foxborough
TV: AppleTV, Sunday, 12:30am
New England are rotted to the bottom of the Easter Conference standings with just four points from their eight games so far. Caleb Porter’s side have won just one of their last five, drawing one, and losing three, and share the same results over their last five home league fixtures where they scored three and conceded five.
Inter Miami have won two, drawn two, and lost one over their last five in the league, while on the road this season have won two, drawn one, and lost one, scoring seven and conceding eight. Lionel Messi is in great form, he’s banged in four goals over his last four for Miami, and while we could back him to score, there’s far better odds to be had in backing Inter Miami to Win against a Revs side who are in terrible shape.
Minnesota United v Sporting Kansas – Over 2.5 Goals
MLS match at Allianz Field, Saint Paul
TV: AppleTV, Sunday, 1:30am
Goals should be on the menu here, Minnesota have scored six and conceded five over their last five, scoring five and conceding four over their four home MLS games this season. Kansas’ recent games have seen a total of 13 goals scored and 13 conceded. Away from home, they’ve scored four in four and conceded three. With such leaky defences we should see at least three goals being scored.
LAFC v Portland Timbers – Over 3.5 Goals
MLS match at the BMO Stadium, Los Angeles
TV: AppleTV, Sunday, 3:30am
Neither side will be too happy with how their respective seasons have begun. LAFC have won three, drawn three, and lost three so far with 15 goals scored and 14 conceded, while the Timbers have won just two, drawn four, and lost three, with 18 goals for and 18 against.
On home soil, LAFC have scored nine and conceded three with the away side scoring nine and conceding 10. Over 3.5 Goals have landed in five of those nine home/away games and with both teams scoring and conceding so many of late, we’re backing the trend.
