Fulham v Liverpool
Premier League match at Craven Cottage, London
TV: Sky Sports Premier League/Main Event, Sunday, 4:30pm
Both Teams to Score
It’s Fulham against Liverpool in the Premier League this Sunday as the Reds look to get their title charge back on track. It’s been a turbulent couple of weeks for Jurgen Klopp’s side after their loss against Crystal Palace was compounded by being knocked out of the Europa League by a well-drilled Atalanta side.
Fulham come into the fixture after a confident 0-2 win away over West Ham last weekend in another impressive season for Marco Silva’s men, which has only lacked slightly more consistency.
Liverpool have scored in each of their last 19 away games in the Premier League and will look to continue that trend as they go in search of a vital three points. However, the Reds have struggled at the other end in West London, having not kept a clean sheet in any of their last eight fixtures at Craven Cottage.
In the reverse fixture at Anfield, it ended in a thrilling 4-3 win for Liverpool and I’m expecting both attacks to show their quality once again in this clash.
Over 10.5 Corners
With both attacks likely to cause a threat, corners could be on the cards at Craven Cottage. Liverpool are second in the league when it comes to corners taken, only trailing Man City in that count. Fulham are also among the highest corner takers in the league, as they sit in sixth place in the charts.
Liverpool had eleven corners of their own last weekend against Crystal Palace and I’m expecting plenty of opportunities for both sides to put the ball into the box in this fixture.
Andreas Pereira to have 1 or more Shots On Target
Attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira has been influential for Fulham this season and is playing some of the best football of his career. The Brazilian got both goals last weekend at the London Stadium and has more goal involvements than any other Fulham player since the start of last season, which even earned him a call-up to the latest Brazil squad.
With four goal involvements in his last four games, Perreira’s confidence will be high and I’m expecting him to test his fellow countryman Alisson Becker in this one.

Liverpool Goalkeeper to make 3 or more Saves
Liverpool have had their defensive issues of late and will be tested by the Fulham attack. Marco Silva’s side had a whopping ten shots on target last weekend against West Ham, which was the most they’ve recorded this season.
They’ll look to continue that trend in this fixture and get in behind the Liverpool defence. However, Liverpool have one of the best goalkeepers around in Alisson and they’ll rely on him to try and keep the Cottagers at bay.
Antonee Robinson to Commit 1 or more Fouls
Attacking full-back Antonee Robinso is crucial to how Fulham operate going forward, but he also offers defensive solidity. He’ll likely be coming up against the threats of Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold down Liverpool’s right channel, so he will be tested when tracking back.
The American international is the second highest at Fulham when it comes to fouls, only behind the tough-tackling Joao Palhinha. I’m expecting a fiery contest here at Craven Cottage and Antonee Robinson certainly doesn’t shy away from a challenge.
