He’s alright that Phil Foden! The big question is, what will Manchester City do selection wise because they rested Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne during the week and you’d have thought they might do that against Crystal Palace with the Champions League games coming up.
It was quite strange and I thought Roy Keane was wrong with his comments about Erling Haaland after the 0-0 with Arsenal last weekend. Anyway, City are unbeaten in 15 Premier League games, winning 11 of those.
They’ve lost just one of their last 34 in all competitions. Foden has scored 10 in their last 11 in all competitions. Haaland hasn’t scored in his last three so you’re wondering which way to go with your bet.
I fancy Haaland to make a comeback. Palace have no win in four Premier League games and they’ve lost two of them. They’ve kept just one clean sheet in 19 league games.
The good news for Palace fans is that they’ve lost only one of their last six Premier League games at Selhurst Park. There is a little bit of hope for them but not in my scoreline.
I’m going for City to win 3-0 so that’s City (-2) in my Bet Builder. It’s that time of the season when Arsenal, City and Liverpool’s goal differences could be really serious so I fancy them to win big. I think he’ll play so I’ve got Haaland to Score Anytime.
I’m also backing Foden to Score Anytime, he’s also in great form. There’s Kevin De Bruyne To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target and, finally, I’ve got Both Teams to Score? No as well.
5.30pm: Brighton v Arsenal
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
Do check the team sheets because Bukayo Saka is a doubt I’ve left him out of my Bet Builder this weekend. I think this could be tough for Arsenal, but what do we make of Brighton these days?
They’ve won just one of the last five Premier League games and just six of the last 24 going further back. However, they’ve lost just one of their last 16 at home so they’ve been good at the Amex.
Arsenal are the division’s top scorers on 72, they’ve the best defence with 24 conceded and are unbeaten in the last five away games, winning four of them. They’ve got the best away defence in the Premier League with only 11 goals conceded on the road.
I think this will be tight and I’m going for Arsenal to Win 2-1. So, my Bet Builder is Arsenal to Win and Both Teams To Score. I’m going for Gabriel Jesus to Score Anytime for Arsenal.
I’m backing one of my favourites, Martin Odegaard To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target, he scored in midweek, and for Danny Welbeck To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target.
