Huddersfield v Coventry

Championship match at the John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield

Coventry to Win

Huddersfield are in a fight to the death now to ensure their Championship survival. Coventry, on the other hand, are in great form of late and gearing up for a strong finish to their league campaign to strong-arm themselves into the Playoff positions.

The hosts have won just one of their last six in the league and just two of their last five on home soil. Coventry have won seven of their last 10 in all competitions and three of their last five in the Championship. With the hosts in such bad shape, we have to back the visitors to take the three points.

QPR v Birmingham

Championship match at Loftus Road, London

QPR to Win

It’s 20th taking on 21st here in a relegation six-pointer. QPR are just a point above Birmingham and are in the better overall form. Rangers have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five in the Championship while at home have won one, drawn two and lost one, scoring seven goals.

Blues have lost five and drawn one over their last six fixtures while on their travels have chalked up just one point over their last five on their travels, scoring just two goals. QPR’s home goal-scoring form should see them taking the points.

Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea

Championship match at Hillsborough, Sheffield

Over 2.5 Goals

Sheffield Wednesday are very much fighting for their survival as well and have won three and lost two of their last five in the league. On home soil, they’ve lost just one of their last six in the Championship, scoring six and conceding four.

Swansea are in decent shape of late, winning three, drawing one, and losing one over their last five, while on their travels have won two, drawn one, and lost two, scoring five and conceding six. With both teams in good goal-scoring form, they should both be scoring. Wednesday though have to go for the win, meaning they’ll be pushing for a second while the Swans will be able to expose space left at the back for attacks. We should see at least three goals scored.

Southampton v Middlesbrough

Championship match at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton

Both Teams to Score

Three losses of late have seen Southampton falling down the Championship pecking order but they’re in great goal-scoring form, scoring 12 over their last five and 15 over their last five at home while conceding nine.

Middlesbrough have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five in the league, winning three and losing two over their last five on their Championship excursions, scoring six and conceding five. With both teams scoring and conceding plenty of late, Both Teams to Score has to go in our Bet Builder.

Southampton to Win

We have to give it to the Saints though, that goal-scoring record of 15 over their last five should stand to them and we can certainly see them outsourcing Michael Carrick’s ‘Boro here.
