Both Teams to Score

A fortnight off will have done both teams a power of good as both managers will be eager to get back to winning ways afte a tough few weeks. Leicester’s manager though had less players to work with over the international break though with a few on international duty.

Bristol have only scored four goals over their last five home Championship fixtures however, the Foxes five over their last five in the league and six over their last five on the road, scoring a healthy 11 so we’re kicking off with the value in the Both Teams to Score market.

Leicester to Win

With that superior goal-scoring record we have to side Enzo Maresca’s side. Couple this with the fact that the Robins have lost six of their last five in the league and three of their last five at home and we should see Leicester overtaking Leeds at the summit of the Championship, at least temporarily.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to have 1 or more Shots on Target

Were he playing in the Premier League, there would surely be voices raised regarding getting Keiran Dewsbury-Hall into the England squad. Albeit, Gareth Southgate is very much spoiled for choice in the middle of the park of late. Dewsbury-Hall has scored 10 goals this season and assisted 12 with a shots average of 2.1 per game. Against a leaky Bristol City, he should be landing at least one Shot on Target.

Jannik Vestergaard to Commit 1 or more Fouls

Denmark’s no-nonsense defender Jannik Vestergaard loves to get stuck in. He’s a quality defender who bosses Leicester’s defence. He’s more than happy to pick up a card too, earning 10 yellow cards in the league so far this season. With a fouls average of just under one per game, we’re making him as the most likely player to commit at least one foul over the 90 minutes.

Over 1.5 Bristol City Cards

While we see Vestergaard causing a bit of trouble at the back for Leicester, we’re going to back the hosts to pick up at least two bookings. They have done so in three of their their last five home Championship games and, most interestingly, when playing away from home, Leicester’s opposition have picked up at least two bookings against them in four of their last five away league outings.
