5pm: Montenegro v North Macedonia
The Draw
No top domestic football means we’re once again focused on international friendlies on Monday night. We’ve put together a tidy Multi-Match Bet Builder, kicking off with Montenegro v North Macedonia. Montenegro played last Thursday when beating Belarus 2-0, while North Macedonia drew 1-1 with Moldova on Friday night.
North Macedonia were stubborn opposition when drawing with England in their Euro 2024 qualifier last November – and we’re actually backing The Draw once again.
Monday’s clash is a friendly and there will be plenty of line-up changes and substitutions. That could affect the flow of the game and I suspect neither side will be too bothered about the result of another friendly so we’re backing it to end level.
Under 2.5 Goals
Along the similar lines of it’s a friendly and not much will happen, adding in Under 2.5 Goals makes plenty of sense. The selection landed in Montenegro and North Macedonia’s friendlies last week and that trend should continue.
There have been under three goals in five of North Macedonia’s last seven games in all competitions and two of Montenegro’s last three matches have finished 2-0.
5pm: Cyprus v Serbia
Aleksandar Mitrovic to Score Anytime
Next up is Cyprus v Serbia in another international friendly. Serbia are nailed on in the betting to beat the 125th ranked side in the world Cyprus so instead of our pick being based on the result, we’re on Aleksandar Mitrovic to Score Anytime, as it’s more certain.
Mitrovic has netted 57 times in 88 appearances for his country and he can add to his tally on Monday night. The Al Hilal forward has bagged 20 goals in 21 appearances in Saudi Arabia this season so expect him to keep that form going for his country.
6pm: Sweden v Albania
Sweden to Win
Finally, we’re focusing on Sweden v Albania. Sweden lost 5-2 against Portugal last week, with Bruno Fernandes and Co. showing their quality, however, Jon Dahl Tomasson won’t have the same problem against Albania on Monday.
Sweden have scored two or more goal in four of their last five outings in all competition and they should have more than enough quality to get the better of Albania, who have failed to win their last three games. It’s got to be Sweden to Win.
Viktor Gyokeres to Score Anytime
We’re on a Sweden win so getting on Viktor Gyokeres to Score Anytime is a shrewd selection. The Sporting Lisbon forward, who netted against Portugal last time out, has been sensational this season. He’s netted 33 times and chipped in with 12 assists in all competitions this campaign.
Gyokeres is averaging 3.4 shots per game for Sporting in the league this season and he’ll be shoot on sight on Monday. We’re expecting Gyokeres to Score.
