This is going to be a tough one for Scotland and the Netherlands, a little bit like Scotland are just coming back to their best. It’s been a difficult time for both sides over recent years but they’re both starting to look back at their best now.
The Netherlands seem to have the better group of players though. It’s a little bit like the German team, if there’s any in-fighting it doesn’t work for them and the Netherlands have always been a bit like that but they’ve got Virgil van Dijk leading them from the back and he’s been having a tremendous season with Liverpool.
Scotland have done ever so well over recent years. They’ve got John McGinn, Andy Robertson, Scott McTominay, they’ve really got something good going on there but it’s a friendly and it’s in the Netherlands so I fancy them to win 2-0. I’m backing the Netherlands to Win and Both Teams to Score, No.
I’m also backing Memphis Depay to get on the scoresheet, he’s having a great season with Atletico Madrid.
We saw Scott McTominay score against Liverpool in the FA Cup last weekend and he should be good for at least a Shot on Target here and former Man United man, Wout Weghorst to also have at least one Shot on Target.
