It’s a wonderful tie and both teams are getting players back for this big game. This rivalry is the biggest game in world football. The support that we have across the planet for both teams is quite astonishing.
It was a great game between Liverpool and Manchester City last week but nothing compares with the United v Liverpool game. Man United, what do we make of them because last week they beat Everton 2-0 which sounds convincing but The Toffees had 23 shots at goal.
There’s something in that and if they had a striker then maybe that result would have been different. United have lost 16 of 39 games in all competitions this season and they’ve lost seven of the last 15 at home so there’s something there for Liverpool.
