Marseille v Villarreal

Europa League match at the Stade Velodrome, Marseille
TV: TNT Sports, Thursday, 8pm

Both Teams to Score

Both sides come into this Europa League clash in decent shape. Marseille have lost just one of their last six fixtures while Villarreal are undefeated over their last seven. The French side haven’t lost any of their last 15 on home soil and have scored 11 over their last five while conceding six.

The away side have won two, drawn two (losing one on penalties), and lost one over their last five on their travels, scoring 10 and conceding nine so Both Teams to Score is where the smart money is going here.

Benfica v Rangers

Europa League match at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa, Lisbon
TV: TNT Sports, Thursday, 8pm

Both Teams to Score

Benfica are odds-on to win here for pretty obvious reasons. The Portuguese league is far superior to what Scotland has to offer but Rangers just cannot be dismissed on the European stage. The Glasgow side have lost just one of their six Europa League games this campaign, winning one, drawing two, and losing in their earlier Champions League qualifiers.

The hosts are formidable on home soil though, they’ve only lost one of their last 15 in Lisbon and that was on penalties in the Taca de Portugal. They’ve scored 16 over their last five so should be getting a couple here at least. Rangers have scored 14 over their last five and 13 over their last five on the road so we reckon they should be drawing some blood. We’re likely looking at a 2-1, or 3-1 here, so we’re going with Both Teams to Score, No Draw.

Freiburg v West Ham

Europa League match at the Europa-Park Stadion, Freiburg
TV: TNT Sports, Thursday, 8pm

Both Teams to Score

Freiburg have failed to win any of their last eight games in all competitions while on home soil have won one, drawn three (winning one in Extra Time), and lost one, scoring a respectable 12 goals over that period, conceding 12 as well.

West Ham looked to have turned a corner, winning both of their most recent games after a run of eight without a win. They put seven past Brentford and Everton over those two games and put four past Freiburg in the Group Stage of the competition earlier this season. The Hammers have also conceded nine over their last five on their away jaunts so Both Teams to Score has to go in our Bet Builder for this one.

Jarrod Bowen to Score

Jarrod Bowen has failed to score over his four Europa League appearances this season but, of course, was instrumental in the Iron’s Europa Conference League win last year with six goals. He’s bagged 14 in 26 in the Premier League this season, as well as three cup goals in three games so we reckon he should be good for a goal here.

Don’t forget about our new Super Sub offer where if you back a player in certain markets, if they’re substituted their picks transfer over to who they’ve been replaced by. Read more about Paddy Power’s Super Sub offer here.

AC Milan v Slavia Prague

Europa League match at the San Siro, Milan
TV: TNT Sports, Thursday, 8pm

AC Milan -1

AC Milan aren’t in the best of form it must be said. They’ve won just two of their last five, drawing one, and losing two but at the San Siro have lost just one of their last 10, winning seven and drawing two, keeping four clean sheets.

Slavia have played five away games in the Europa League this season, winning two, drawing one, and losing two. The gulf in class should be plenty evident here, particularly with the hosts being so strong on home soil. We’re backing them in the -1 Handicap market.
