I was amazed at the formation Rob Edwards went to when Luton took on Erling Haaland and Manchester City midweek. He really got his fingers burnt on that one. Haaland, of course, scored five on the night, although Luton did pull it back to 2-3 at one stage, so, we know that Luton can certainly score goals.
However, they’ve lost all four of their most recent fixtures in all competitions and have lost all three of their most recent games played at Kenilworth Road.
Aston Villa have won their last two Premier League games and have scored the most First Half goals in the league this season with 27. They’re also unbeaten over their last five on the road in all competitions. I reckon this one will finish 1-3 to Villa so I’m backing Aston Villa -1 and Both Teams to Score.
I’m also backing Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey to Score and John McGinn to have at least one Shot on Target.
