    Chelsea v Leeds

FA Cup match at Stamford Bridge, London
    TV: ITV 4, 7:30pm

    Both Teams to Score

Chelsea came awful close to landing a piece of silverware at the weekend but somehow Liverpool pulled off a famous victory thanks to the heroics of their captain Virgil van Dijk late in Extra Time. The Blues have to banish their blues now and take on a Leeds side who are unbeaten over their last 12 games in all competitions.

Daniel Farke’s side have scored 16 over their last five fixtures, three of which were in Extra Time against Plymouth in the previous round of the FA Cup, while on their travels have scored 14, again, three of which were in Extra Time.

Chelsea have scored nine over their last five and nine over their last five at the Bridge so we have to go with a Both Teams to Score pick.

    Nottingham Forest v Man United

FA Cup match at the City Ground, Nottingham
    TV: BBC One, 7:45pm

    Over 2.5 Goals

Nottingham Forest have won one, drawn two, winning one on penalties, and lost two over their last five, scoring eight goals. On home soil, they’ve recorded the same results, scoring eight as well. Man United are in good shape, they’ve lost just one of their last eight games, winning six and drawing one. Away from Old Trafford, they’ve won five in-a-row, scoring a healthy 14. With both teams in ripe goal-scoring form, we’re backing Over 2.5 Goals.

Bruno Fernandes to have 1 or more Shots on Target

United missed Rasmus Hojlund and the weekend and he won’t be available for selection here. So, again, we’ll likely see Marcus Rashford playing as the central striker, a role we all know he doesn’t excel in. However, it does mean we’ll see more link-up play between him and Bruno Fernandes who has two goals over his last five on the road and with a shots average of 2.6 per game, we reckon he’ll be landing one on target.

        Wolves v Brighton

FA Cup match at Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton
        TV: BBC iPlayer, 7:45pm

        Over 2.5 Goals

Since November, following a draw, Brighton have won their next game, something that has occurred six times. After drawing with Everton at the weekend, a victory should then to be on the cards. However, Wolves have been a tough nut to crack this season, losing just two of their last 12 fixtures. At home, of late, they’ve won two, drawn one, winning it in Extra Time, and lost two, scoring 10. With the Seagulls, netting 15 over their last five on their travels too, goals would certainly seem to be on the menu.

        Liverpool v Southampton

FA Cup match at Anfield, Liverpool
        TV: ITV, 8pm

        Both Teams to Score

Caoimhin Kelleher was outstanding for Liverpool in their Caraboa Cup victory over Chelsea at Wembley but, as good as he is, Liverpool rarely keep a clean sheet when he’s between the sticks. Of his 16 games across all competitions, the Republic of Ireland international has only kept three.

Southampton have scored 10 over their last five and nine over their last five on the road so we’re expecting the Saints to draw some blood. Will Liverpool score? Of their 40 games this season, they’ve only failed to score once, so yes, Liverpool will be scoring.

        Luis Diaz to Score

Luis Diaz was unlucky on a few occasions on Sunday. Chelsea, for the most part, did get their tactics spot on when it came to nullifying the Reds. Liverpool’s Colombian forward has six in 25 in the league this season, as well as two cup goals and two Europa League goals. With Mo Salah and Dawin Nunez likely sidelined again (according to latest reports at the time of writing) he’ll be partnering Cody Gakpo so there’s a good chance Diaz will be adding to his season tally against the Saints.
