Fiorentina v Lazio
Serie A match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, Firenze
TV: TNT Sports, 7:45pm
Lazio to Win
Fiorentina have been absolutely woeful of late, winning just two of their last 10 games in all competitions, although on of their draws was a penalty win over Bologna in the Coppa Italia. Lazio, on the other hand, have won three of their last five and on their recent travels have won four of their last six.
The odds are generous because La Viola have a decent home record in the Serie A but with just one win over their last six in the league overall, you’d have to fancy Maurizio Sarri’s Eagles to snatch the three points.
Ciro Immobile to have 1 or more Shots on Target
The season didn’t start so well for Lazio’s 34-year-old striker. But of late has bagged three goals over his last five in a Lazio shirt. He has a decent record against Fiorentina too, scoring eight over 19 previous appearances across his career, and with a shots-per-game average of 1.4, he should be landing one on target.
West Ham v Brentford
Premier League match at the London Stadium, London
TV: Sky Sports Main Event & Premier League, 8pm
Draw
Over their last 20 combined games in all competitions there have only been four victories recorded, and over their last five each, only Brentford have won one. It’s the kind of game where, if you could, you’d nearly back both teams to lose. The Hammers have even failed to score in their last three defeats, where they shipped an eye-watering 11 goals.
Thomas Frank’s made life tough for Man City last Tuesday but were never in it when Liverpool beat them 1-4 at home the previous Saturday. They have, at least been scoring, netting six over their last five. With David Moyes’ Hammers scoring six over their last five at home, this one looks like ending in a 1-1, or 0-0 stalemate.
Girona v Rayo Vallecano
La Liga match at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi, Girona
TV: Viaplay, 8pm
Girona to Win
The wheels have certainly come off at Girona of late but they should be able to get back to winning ways here. The hosts have won just one of their last five in all competitions but at home have won six of their last eight in La Liga action.
Rayo Vallecano have won none of their last eight in all competitions and on their league excursions have won just one of their last six, drawing one and losing four, scoring a paltry four goals. This one has ‘home win’ written all over it.
Over 1.5 Rayo Vallecano Cards
Rayo have picked up a staggering 70 bookings this season in the league, Girona have collected just 51. The away side have received at least two bookings in four of their last five on the road while away sides playing at Girona have picked up at least two cards in four of their last five home La Liga games so we’re sticking with that trend to finish off our Bet Builder.
