Blackpool meet Peterborough in the EFL Trophy semi final on Tuesday night and the pair actually clased over the weekend in League Two where Blackpool were 1-2 winners at the Weston Homes Stadium. The away side aren’t in the best of shape, they’ve only won one of their last five games, and just two of their last five on the road but have scored nine and eight goals over those ten matches so you’d expect them to score.
Blackpool have scored six over their last five at Bloomfield Road so, Both Teams to Score has some decent value here.

Blackpool to Win
It has to be noted too that Peterborough are very much leaking goals of late, they’ve conceded 13 over their last five and 10 over their last five on their travels. As mentioned above, they’ve also lost four of their last five fixtures while the hosts have lost none of their 10 at home, in regular time at least, losing 2-3 to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup after Extra Time. No doubt the away side will be out for some revenge after losing to them over the weekend but in conceding so many goals of late, Blackpool’s price to Win has the value.
A Goal Scored in Both Halves
Four of Peterborough’s last five on their travels have seen at least a goal scored in both halves and all five of their most recent games have also seen it occurring, so it’s hard not to see it occurring against here.
Karamoki Dembele to Score
Blackpool’s Jordan Rhodes is the favourite to score at anytime here but he’s only hit the back of the net in one of Blackpool’s last 15 games in all competitions, despite being their top scorer for the club this season. We want to look at youngster Karamoko Dembele instead. He’s netted five goals this season but has really hit form of late, scoring three over his last six for the Seasiders so we’re adding him to our Bet Builder.
