Playing any of the Italian teams on home soil is always difficult. Lazio had a really good 1-3 win away to Cagliari over the weekend but they’re only sitting in eighth position in the Serie A standings. They’ve lost eight games in the league this season and overall their form isn’t great coming into this match.
Bayern Munich were humbled at the weekend by Xavi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen. The home side won 3-0 so Bayern are now five points behind Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga and Bayern have now lost two of their last five fixtures. I think it’ll be tight but I fancy Bayern to win 1-2.
