Dortmund v Freiburg

Bundesliga match at the Westfalenstadion
TV: Sky Sports Football, 7:30pm

Both Teams to Score

While Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich battle it out for this season’s Bundesliga titles there’s a fascinating battling going on below them for the other European football places. Dortmund are currently fourth on 37 points, Freiburg aren’t too far behind in seventh on 28 points.

The hosts have kept just three clean sheets over their last 10 home fixtures, scoring a healthy 15 goals in the process. The away side have won two of their last five on their league travels, losing the other three but have scored in all six of their most recent away games so both teams should be rattling the net here.

    Nichlas Fullkrug to Score

Former Werder Bremen and Hannover striker Nichlas Fullkrug is finally finding form with his new employer. He’s so far netted nine goals in 18 Bundesliga games but of late has hit the back of the net five times over his last eight in a BVB shirt. In such good form, we’re getting decent odds for him to add to his tally.

        Sheffield Wednesday v Birmingham

        Championship match at Hillsborough, Sheffield
TV: Sky Sports Main Event, 8pm

        Both Teams to Score

Over their last 10 combined home/away games there are only been two wins, both of which came for Birmingham City. Sheffield Wednesday have won just one of their last five league fixtures, drawing one, and losing three. Their home Championship form has seen them winning two, drawing one and losing two, scoring seven and conceding six.

Blues have won just one of their last five in the league, while on their travels have won two, drawn one, and lost two, scoring six, and conceding eight. With those stats, Both Teams to Score has the value.

        Marseille v Metz

Ligue 1 match at Stade Velodrome, Marseille
        TV: TNT Sports, 8pm

        Over 1.5 Marseille Goals

Marseille’s form needs to improve if they’re to make European competition this season, they’ve won just one of their last five in Ligue Un, drawing three, and losing one. At the Velodrome, things are much better where they’ve now gone 10 undefeated in the league, winning three and drawing two of their last five, scoring at least two goals in seven of their last 10 on home soil.

Metz are third from bottom on just 16 points after 20 games. They’ve lost every single one of their last seven in the league while on their recent travels have conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven. Marseille should be scoring at least two here.

        Cadiz v Betis

La Liga match at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla, Cadiz
        TV: Viaplay, 8pm

        Betis to Win

Cadiz have won none of their last 19 La Liga clashes and at home have lost two and drawn three of their last five. Betis, on the other hand, have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five in the league. While it’s not exactly stellar, the host’s form is just so bad that we have to give this one to the away side.
