Saturday, 12:30pm: Manchester City v Everton
Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium
TV: TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate
Man City (-1)
We’re not getting huge odds on Man City winning outright so we’re going to boost our odds with taking Pep Guardiola’s men with a -1 handicap. City have won nine straight in all competitions and last lost a game at the start of December. After a poor start to the season in which it looked like they were suffering from a hangover after winning the treble, they’re now back to their very best.
Man City have two or more goals in their last seven games in a row and lead the Premier League scoring charts with 54 goals in 22 games, one game less than the majority of teams. When they faced Everton at Goodison Park at the end of December they won 3-1 and I expect another strong showing here.
Man City to be winning at halftime
They may be second in the Premier League heading into this weekend but if you only include the first halves of games then Man City would be top. They’ve been winning 12 of their 22 games at halftime.
Even more incredible is that they’ve been winning at halftime in all 10 of their league games at the Etihad this season, scoring 17 first half goals and conceding just two. Meanwhile Saturday’s opposition Everton have scored just five first half goals away from home and conceded nine for City to Be Winning At Half Time looks shrewd.

Phil Foden to Score Anytime
With Kevin De Bruyne sidelined for much of the season it’s been pleasing to see Phil Foden step up. He’s been one of City’s best players and has added goals to his output. So far this year he’s scored eight Premier League goals, that’s three short of his best ever season total last year, and just one off his best before then.
Foden is coming into this game on a season hot streak. He scored a hat trick against Brentford on Monday night, which gives him a total of seven goals in his past eight games in all competitions. I fancy Phil Foden To Score Anytime.
Erling Haaland to score anytime
Man City’s Norwegian striker Erling Haaland in back after a lay off with injury. He started their last game against Brentford having come off the bench in his return against Burnley. He’s yet to score since returning, which has seen him drop below an average of a goal a game for the first time in his Man City career.
He’ll get back to scoring ways soon and already has 14 goals in just 17 Premier League appearances this year, as well as another five in the Champions League. He scored in both games against Everton last season and has a very good chance of bagging again on Saturday.
Everton to receive the most cards
To finish off our Bet Builder we’re going to back Everton To Get The Most Cards. So far this season they’ve had 50 cards of which 49 were yellow. Meanwhile, Man City have had 10 fewer with 40 so far.
Man City are likely to dominate the ball here, with Everton playing more defensively, that should lead to more situations in which Everton commit fouls and bring down one of Guardiola’s talented squad. The likes of Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku and Phil Foden have been magnets for fouls this season and cant terrorise defences.
