FA Cup replay match at Home Park, Plymouth

Over 2.5 goals

Each of Leeds’s last three games, including the drawn game against Plymouth, have involved two goals or fewer, but that has only been a recent aberration.

Daniel Farke’s side are the fourth-highest scoring team in the Championship, scoring 52 goals in 32 games, while they have also conceded 26 goals in the league, meaning they have been involved in 78 goals this season.

Plymouth, on the other hand, enjoyed a 1-0 win at Swansea on Saturday but had both scored and conceded in each of their nine games prior to that win.

Two of those nine games were 3-3 draws, while another was a 3-2 victory.

Only Blackburn have been involved in more goals in the Championship this season than Plymouth, who have scored 48 and conceded 47 (a total of 95) after just 29 games.

They clearly have no problem finding the back of the net and will hope to breach the Leeds defence once again on Tuesday, but they stand almost no chance of keeping Leeds out at the other end.

There should be goals on Tuesday.

Crysencio Summerville to score anytime

Crysencio Summerville is enjoying an excellent season at Elland Road, scoring 12 goals in the league, making him Leeds’s top scorer in all competitions as the season moves past the halfway stage.

However, Summerville has not scored since a New Year’s Day victory over Birmingham, a run of four games that also includes a missed penalty in the win at Cardiff last month.

Summerville was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in January and has not yet played in the FA Cup this season, but he could be thrown in from the start at Plymouth on Tuesday.

He is enjoying by far his best goalscoring season and can add to his tally of 12 goals on Tuesday night.

Patrick Bamford to have two or more shots on target

A stunner against Peterborough aside, Patrick Bamford is not exactly having a season to remember so far.

The Leeds striker has scored just three Championship goals in 21 appearances this season, with the majority of those appearances coming from the bench.

It is not for want of trying, however.

Despite featuring as a substitute in 16 of those 21 games, Bamford still maintains an average of 1.3 shots per game.

He is far more likely to play from the start against Plymouth on Tuesday and is good value to land at least two efforts on target.

Over 3.5 cards

Leeds boast on the best disciplinary records in the Championship this season, picking up just 46 yellow cards and two red cards in their 30 games to date.

However, they face a Plymouth side that boasts a significantly worse disciplinary record.

Ian Foster’s side have received 65 bookings and one sending off in 29 league games this season, an average of well over two per game.

Considering Tuesday’s game is a cup replay played under the lights, there could be plenty of crunching tackles on display – from both teams.

There were five cards issued when Plymouth travelled to Leeds in the league back in November and it wouldn’t be surprising if a similar number were issued on Tuesday at Home Park.

Over 5.5 Leeds corners

Only Rotherham have conceded more corners in the league this season than Plymouth.

Plymouth have conceded a staggering average of 7.1 corners per game in the league this season and have also faced the second-highest shots per game in the division behind Blackburn, facing an average of a whopping 15.8 shots per game.

Leeds, meanwhile, average the most shots per game in the Championship this season and boast an average of 5.7 corners per 90 minutes, the seventh-highest in the division.

They won six corners at the drawn game at Elland Road last month after recording 18 shots and eight shots on target against Plymouth.

There is every chance that they will post similar numbers at Home Park.
