I thought the game against Bournemouth on Sunday was a potential banana skin for Liverpool because they have been playing really well, and they beat them 1-0 there last season.
I didn’t see the game as I was celebrating my 70th birthday, but I was following it, and lo and behold, it was a fantastic 4-0 win.
The result will be a morale booster ahead of Wednesday, especially with several players missing, like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Waturo Endo, and Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool are unbeaten in 14 Premier League games with the best defence (conceding 18). It reminds me of 2001 when they were going for all the trophies.
However, with it being at Fulham, they had an excellent first half at Anfield in the first leg. I do fancy this one for Both Teams to Score.
They have had a rest after the narrow defeat at Chelsea. This is their first game in 11 days. Yet, they only have one win in their last five, so I’m going for Liverpool to win this. But it will be tight, maybe two goals to one. So that’s Over 2.5 Goals.
