    Leicester City are seven points ahead of both Southampton and Ipswich at the top of the Championship table. The Foxes are in strong form of course and have won three, drawn one, and lost one of their last five in all competitions with Ipswich winning two and drawing three of their last five in action.

    Some interesting stats popped out at us here, Enzo Maresca’s side have only scored twice in the first half of their last five at home in the league. For Ipswich, they’ve also only scored two over their last five on the road in the Championship. This one looks like it going to end all square at half time.

        With Jamie Vardy, Patson Daka, and Kelechi Iheanacho all unavailable for the home side, goal-scoring chances are likely to be on the shoulders of Stephy Mavididi who has scored nine since his move from Ligue Un Montpellier over the summer. With a healthy average of two shots per game, we’re backing him to land at least one on target against the Tractor Boys.

        Conor Chaplin to have 1 or more Shots on Target

        Conor Chaplin with nine Championship goals leads the goalscorers charts for the travelling side and boosts an even higher rate of 3.6 shots per game. The Ipswich players will be all too aware that a win here will put them in a good position to keep pushing Southampton for the second automatic promotion place so when chances fall to him, Chaplin is going to make the most of them. He should also be landing at least one on target.

        George Edmundson to Commit 2 or more Fouls

        With Sam Morsy away at the AFCON and Massico Luongo out injured you’d be tempted to think that Ipwish might be without some steel at the back here. However, George Edmundson is finally back in an Ipswich shirt and in his four appearances this season has averaged three tackles per game and he’s already picked up two bookings.

        He could have his hands full in facing both Mavididi and Thomas Cannon and while he mightn’t receive a card, we can certainly see him committing at least two fouls.
