Lecce v Juventus

Serie A match at the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero, Lecce
TV: TNT Sports, 7:45pm

Juventus -1

Juventus have now gone 16 games undefeated in all competitions. Interestingly, the first game of that run was a 1-0 win in the reverse fixtures in late September. The Old Lady have won all of their most recent six matches while on the road in the Serie A have won four and drawn one, scoring eight and conceding four.

Lecce haven’t won any of their last four games, drawing one and losing three while at home in the league have won one, drawn three, and lost one. Granted, those draw results will give them the confidence to throw a proverbial spanner here but Juve’s results are too good to be argued with and they should breeze these by at least two goals.

Adrien Rabiot to have 1 or more Shots on Target

France’s Adrien Rabiot has played a starring role for Max Allegri’s Juve this season, scoring three and assisting three as well. While his main task is to be a general nuisance in midfield, breaking up play and offering protection to the central defenders behind him, he loves to get forward and have a pop. In averaging 1.3 shots per league game we reckon he’ll be getting at least one on target here.

      Girona v Sevilla

La Liga match at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi, Girona
      TV: Viaplay, 8pm

      Girona to Win

At the time of writing Girona are a point above Real Madrid at the summit of La Liga. With Los Blancos hosting Almeria earlier in the day they’re likely to have overtaken the City Football Group franchise. The hosts have won three and drawn two of their last five in the league while on home soil have won four and drawn one, scoring 11 and conceding five.

Sevilla are just a point above the relegation zone and having an awful season. They’ve chalked up just three points over their last five league games with one win and four losses while on their excursions have won one, drawn one, and lost three, scoring five and conceding five. We can’t argue with the host’s form here, especially with Quique Sanchez Flores’ side being in such bad shape.

Sergio Ramos to Commit 2 or more Fouls

Sergio Ramos’ return to Sevilla obviously isn’t going to plan. The former Real hardman has picked up five bookings (one red and four yellow cards) over his 11 appearances and averages just shy of two fouls per game. Girona, as we all know, play aggressive, front-footed football and will be bearing down on goal here since they’ll be looking to overtake Real at the top of the league. Ramos’ old allegiances should be on display here, we reckon he’s going to make life as tough for the home team as possible.

      Rennes v Marseille

Ligue Un match at Roazhon Park, Rennes
      TV: TNT Sports, 8:05pm

      Both Teams to Score

Both teams come into this game in decent form. Rennes have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five in all competitions while Marseille have won two, drawn two, and lost one over their last five.

The hosts have won two and lost three of their last five at home however, scoring eight of late while the visitors have won two, drawn two, and lost one, scoring seven goals. Tough to pick a result here but with both teams in robust goal-scoring form, Both Teams to Score has the best value
