    Napoli will surely welcome a distraction from their Serie A form with a chance of a place in Monday’s final against either Inter or Lazio up for grabs. Fiorentina, after beating Napoli 3-1 in October will be eager to repeat that performance.

    Walter Mazzarri’s side have scored just one first-half goal over their last five games, as have Fiorentina. In recent clashes between the sides we’ve seen four half-time draws over their last five so it’s a trend we should be exploiting here.

    Napoli’s scoring woes are well-known with their star man Victor Osimhen seemingly in bad form, although he has scored eight over his 17 games which isn’t all that bad. Gli Azzurri have been lacklustre in front of goal of late but against La Viola have scored six over their last five. Napoli have leaked 10 goals over their last five as well so Vincenzo Italiano’s side should certainly be getting at least one here.

        Giacomo Bonaventura to have 1 or more Shots on Target

        With Nicolas Gonzalez set to miss this match with an injury, his Argentine compatriot Lucas Beltran as well as Giacomo Bonaventura will be expected to take on goal-scoring responsibilities.

        Beltran prefers to get close in to goal before taking a shot however, averaging less than a shot per game while Bonaventura isn’t shy of taking a pop when he’s got sight of goal. With an average just shy of two shots per game, he should be causing a few problems for a porous Napoli defence.

        Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Score or Assist

        Georgia’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, like the aforementioned Victor Osimhen, isn’t hitting the heights of last season, although he’s still scored five and assisted three in the Serie A. With a massive 3.5 shots per game in the league and 1.6 key passes per game, we’re getting some value here in his price to score or assist.

        Over 4.5 Cards

        Previous meetings between these sides have seen 6, 0, 6, 3, and 7 cards brandished, so it’s safe to say there’s not much love shared between the teams. Fiortena have been eclipsed by the Neopalitians over recent seasons thanks to their league success but after making a European final last season and now sitting fourth in the league they’re going to be fired up to make it to the final.

        Napoli will surely have most of the ball here and Italiano’s side are not afraid of engaging in the dark arts, as their 59 cards this season show. Napoli too aren’t afraid of getting physical so we should see a nice amount of cards shown here.
