    Real Madrid v Barcelona
Spanish Super Cup final match at Al Awwal Park, Riyadh
    Sunday, 7:00pm

    Over 2.5 Goals

Five of the last six meetings between these old enemies have seen at least three goals scored and form would suggest we’ll see at least three here again. We’ve witnessed at least three goals in three of Real’s last five fixtures and in four of Barcelona’s last five matches.

With the first silverware of the Spanish season up for grabs, we should be in for a cracking match.

    Robert Lewandowski to Score

Robert Lewandowski looks like he’s found his goal-scoring boots again after what’s been quite the frustrating season thus far. He was on target against Osasuna in Thursday night’s semi-final and bagged a penalty in their prior Copa del Rey match as well.

He’s got a strong record against Real over his career too, scoring seven in 13 appearances, and looking back in form, we’re backing him to add to that tally.

        6 of more Cards

Of course, the Classicos are very much heated affairs. Over their last five meetings, we’ve seen 3, 12, 7, 7, 4. The man in black will be Juan Martinez Munuera who has brandished 39 cards this season over nine in La Liga, an average of 4.3 so he’s a tad card happy in La Liga terms and we can certainly see him producing a few more here in what will surely be a mean-tempted affair.

Rodrygo to have 2 or more Shots on Target

Brazil’s Rodrygo has scored seven La Liga and three Champions League goals this season, as well as one in the Copa del Rey. Jude Bellingham tends to be the go-to pick for shots but the Englishman, while still playing brilliantly isn’t getting off shots as much as he previously was for Los Blancos.

Rodrygo has averaged 3.2 shots per La Liga game this season and, also, 3.2 in his Champions League appearances and we reckon he’ll be landing a few punches on Inaki Pena between the Barcelona sticks.

Ilkay Gundogen to have 1 or more Shots on Target

Former Man City and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogen has scored just three goals since signing for the Catalans over the summer but has been playing slightly lower down the pitch for Xavi’s side. He’s been averaging 1.2 shots per game though in both La Liga and the Champions League and, interestingly two of his three goals came in big games against both Real and Girona.

Fans of the Premier League know that he’s a player that thrives on the big occasion and with decent averages we’re marking him to have at least one shot on target over the 90 minutes.
