    Barcelona v Osasuna
Spanish Super Cup semi-final match at Al Awal Park, Riyadh
    Thursday, 7:00pm

    Both Teams to Score

While much of the focus of Barcelona’s problems this season have been laid at the door of Robert Lewandowski, more on him below, it’s at the back that they’ve been really struggling. The Catalans have conceded in 10 of their last 11 games in all competitions and have failed to keep Osasuna scoreless in six of their last 10 matchups.

Xavi’s side have scored 11 and conceded nine over their last five while Los Rojillos have scored six and conceded four over their last five. With Barca in particular conceding so many of late, Both Teams to Score has to get us started here.

Robert Lewandowski to Have 2 or More Shots on Target

Lewandowski have scored just eight La Liga goals so far this campaign with another one being scored in the Champions League. He’s still very much a threat though and is averaging 3.5 shots per game so he’s been quite unlucky and his goals tally should be far higher.

He was on target with a penalty on Sunday last and with his shots stats we reckon he’s good for at least two on Thursday night.

Ante Budimir to Have 1 or more Shots on Target

Croatia’s Ante Budimir is one ahead of Lewandowski in the La Liga goal-scoring charts with nine goals this season and has two over his last four appearances for Jagoba Arrasate’s side. Taking up his position at the top of Osasuna’s front three and in averaging 2.4 shots per game we’re marking him to be testing Inaki Pena’s reflexes in the Barcelona goal.

Alejandro Catena to be Shown a Card

Alejandro Catena is going to be in for a tough slog here, facing Lewandowski, with Raphina and either Ferran Torres or Jaoa Felix coming in off the wing. He’s been booked six times this season and going up against such opposition, he’s decent odds to be Shown a Card over 90 minutes.

        3 or more Osasuna Cards

While the Catalans have picked up more cards in domestic competition this season, we have to look at Osasuna here. Over their last five meetings against Barcelona, they’ve picked up 3, 1, 4, 4, and 5 cards.

They’re going to be without the ball for the majority of this match and while they can certainly hurt teams on the break, they’re also going to have to bring players to ground with the aim of breaking up Barca attacks. We’re backing the trend here, Osasuna to have 3 or More Cards.
