    Roma v Atalanta
Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome
    Sunday, 7:45pm
    TV: TNT Sports

    Over 2.5 Goals

Roma coming to this Serie A clash following a 2-1 win over Cremonese in the Coppa with Atalanta beating Sassuolo 3-1. The Romans are in decent shape, winning three and losing two of their last five, while on home soil in the Serie A have won six of their last seven, drawing the other one, averaging 2.57 goals per game.

Atalanta are finally hitting some consistency, they’ve now won five of their last six in all competitions but their away league form with just one win, one draw, and three losses leaves much to be desired. They have, however, scored six goals over those five games and conceded eight so goals look to be on the Stadio Olimpico menu.

    Romelu Lukaku to Score

Belgium’s Romelu was again on target in their midweek cup game, the former Chelsea and Manchester United striker have eight goals in 14 in the league, one in the Coppa and five in six in the Europa League. With the away side conceding plenty of late, we fancy his chances of adding to his Serie A tally.

Leandro Paredes to Commit 2 or more Fouls

Argentina’s Leandro Paredes has always had a bit of a mean streak in him, the former PSG and Juventus hardman looks even rawer under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho. Enjoying his second season under his Portugues manager he’s picked up nine yellow cards already in his role of protecting the two central defenders behind him.

The way Atalanta play he’s likely to be involved in a few scuffles here and while he mightn’t get booked, we can certainly see him Committing Two or more Fouls.

Paulo Dybala to have 1 or more Shots on Target

Paredes compatriot Paulo Dybala has been instrumental for Roma this season, scoring four and assisting six in the league this far. With an average of 2.3 shots per game, and Atalanta conceding plenty of changes of late, we’re backing him to have at least one Shot on Target.

A Goal Score in Both Halves

We’re a bit Roma-heavy so far we’ll admit but Atalanta cannot be dismissed. Of their six goals scored over their recent away games, three were in the first half and three were in the second. Their overall form has improved, as mentioned above where they’ve scored three first half goals and eight in the second period of play.

As you’d expect with a Mourinho side, they do most of their heavy lifting in the second period of play, scoring seven of their last nine home goals in the second half. We should see at least a Goal Scored in Both Halves here with one team going on to take the three points.
