12.30pm: Sunderland v Newcastle

TV: ITV 1 and STV

It’s a massive derby and you know the dislike they have for each other up in the north east. I’m looking forward to Arsenal v Liverpool but this is very much next on my list!

Sunderland have won two and drawn one of their last three games with one home defeat in their last four games at the Stadium Of Light. They beat Leeds and West Brom who are both above them as well.

This looks like a great game and Sunderland are 6th in the Championship so they’re not doing bad at all. Newcastle found it really hard in that fantastic game against Liverpool the other night.

The goalkeeper Martin Dubravka was over worked and they’ve lost their last three games with no win in five in all competitions. They’ve conceded seven in their last two league games. However, I’m looking at Newcastle to Win this 2-1 with Both Teams to Score.

Also in my Bet builder I’ve got Alexander Isak To Score Anytime and for Bruno Guimaraes To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target. I’ve also got Guimaraes To Be Shown a Card. He’s not the best tackler and it’s a derby game.

5.30pm: Middlesbrough v Aston Villa

TV: BBC One

It’s a difficult one this, Middlesbrough are sitting 12th in The Championship and they’re in the semi finals of the Carabao Cup which start next week. You wonder how they will treat this game.

They had a damaging 3-1 defeat last time out against Coventry at home so that was obviously bad. Aston Villa have had just one defeat in 12 in all competitions and that was against Manchester United away and they were 2-0 up in that game.

They’ve scored five in their last two games so they can score goals. Ollie Watkins, he’s had a great time, but he’s only scored one goal in the last seven in all competitions. He’s got nine in the Premier League so he’s still the one to watch in this game.

I’m going to go for Villa to Win, comfortably, 3-0. My Bet Builder is Aston Villa (-1) for a bit of value, Over 2.5 Goals, and for Watkins to Score Anytime and get back to form.

I also fancy John McGinn To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target, I always fancy him for that, and I’m going for Morgan Rogers To Be Shown a Card in this game.
