That sounds like the perfect time for an acca and one with lots of goals. If you’re wondering what to bet on then look no further, here’s your Friday night EFL BTTS Acca.

Watford vs Stoke – Both Teams to Score

Watford are the Championship’s form team when it comes to backing Both Teams to Score with each of their last seven games hitting that. To put that into context that is three games more than their nearest team.

Stoke haven’t been huge goal scorers this season but come into this on the back of a 3-1 win over Birmingham and we know that Steven Schumacher’s old team Plymouth Argyle were a team who scored a lot of goals, so we can expect his Stoke team to start to find the back of the net more.

Birmingham City vs Bristol City – Both Teams to Score

Eight of Birmingham’s 12 home games have seen BTTS, while Bristol City have had BTTS land in 58% of their away games. Birmingham have only picked up a point in their past three games but they’ve scored in every game, banging in two against Leicester, three against Plymouth Argyle and one at home to Stoke. Their issues has been defensive, which should help us land the BTTS here.

Bristol City have moved up to eighth in the Championship following three back to back wins and have scored in each of their last six matches, including four goals in the road earlier in the week at Watford.

Bristol Rovers vs Charlton Athletic – Both Teams to Score

There isn’t much to split these two clubs, with just two spots and two points keeping Rovers in 10th and Charlton in 12th apart, with the clubs sandwiching Northampton. When it comes to backing BTTS in League One you can’t really do much better than Bristol Rovers vs Charlton. Rovers had have BTTS land in 17 of 22  matches, the highest total in the league, with Charlton landing BTTS in 16 of their games.

Not only that but of Rovers’ 10 home games they’ve seen both teams bagging goals in nine of them, the highest percentage of any team in League One at their own stadium. Charlton have also seen seven of their 10 away games hit BTTS.

You’d need to go back to the 30th September to find the last time Bristol Rovers didn’t score in a game, a 2-0 defeat to Peterborough. This is poised for goals.

Cheltenham Town vs Reading – Both Teams to Score

It feels crazy that I’m backing a game featuring Cheltenham to end up with BTTS given that they didn’t score in their first 11 League One games this season, but the numbers back it up as a good bet. They’ve since scored in each of their 11 league games since and with two recent wins they look to have a chance of avoiding relegation.

Following a draw last time out Reading have now been joined on 19 points by Cheltenham. Reading, like Cheltenham, have also scored in each of their last 11 League One matches. Not only that but both teams have scored in eight of Reading’s 11 games away from the Madekski across this season, including their last four matches on the road.

Newport County vs Crewe Alexandra – Both Teams to Score

Crewe have dropped to sixth in League Two following three defeats in their past four, despite scoring more goals than all but three teams in the division. Meanwhile Newport sit 17th, despite scoring more goals than all but one team in the bottom half, thanks to their terrible defensive record which has seen them give up more goals than bottom placed Forest Green.

It’s worth considering that while BTTS has landed in 15 of Newport’s 24 games, which isn’t that impressive, it gets flipped on its head when they play at home, where both teams have scored in 10 of their 12 games at the Newport Stadium. Crewe have also had BTTS in eight of their 11 games on the road.

MK Dons vs Crawley Town– Both Teams to Score

Just three points separates these two clubs in the top half of League Two. What concerns us is that they’re both in solid form for BTTS, with MK Dons landing BTTS in four of their past six games at home and Crawley also having BTTS in four of their last six on the road.

MK Dons in particular have seen a lot of BTTS action this season with both teams scoring in a 15 of 22 League Two matches.
