Saturday 12.30pm: West Ham v Manchester United
Premier League match at the London Stadium
TV: TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate

Manchester United got a good draw at Liverpool and West Ham hammered Wolves 3-0 last time out.

I’m going to go for Manchester United to win this match which sees David Moyes come up against his old club once again.

They just have to be better than they have been and, actually, against Liverpool I thought they did really well.

Everyone gave them stick but they went and got a good point, they made it really difficult at Anfield.

I’ll go for Manchester United to win this 2-1. They’ve not been playing well, as we all know, but in terms of points they’re not doing that badly. That’s been the strange thing.

I bet they were high-fiving in the changing room after the match which people won’t get but, if you’re in that position where everyone thinks you’re rubbish and you’re going to get beat, those feel like wins and that can help you turn the corner.

West Ham are up to eighth and can go above their opponents with a win, the thing with them is that their good players all have to play really well for them to win games.

I’m talking about Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and the guy who I really like Mohammed Kudus.

Bowen and Kudus are so dangerous because it’s how Moyes sets his team up. They lock the back door, throw away the key, and eventually they get chances on the break. They’re not a team who make a host of chances but they seem to be able to keep a clean sheet and make it difficult. That’s Moysey’s modus operandi.

Bruno Fernandes is back for this one and that result against Liverpool has to be a stepping stone for them and you could argue that they had chances as good as Liverpool to pinch it.

That clean sheet is as big as anything and suddenly the dressing room’s a different place. If they can harness that I expect them to go on and have a few games unbeaten. Raphael Varane came in at the weekend and he looked like the player that they thought they’d signed two years ago.

Bowen’s the main goal threat for West Ham but it’s a tricky one for United. I’d have to say Fernandes is probably the man most likely to score for United.

He needs to start showing some direction and that he’s the leader of this team. They’ve got good young players and Kobbie Mainoo looks a proper, proper player.

I was actually talking to his mum at the Liverpool game and she was really, really nice. She’s got her head screwed on and I think you can see that in her son. He’s in the squad on merit and he looks to have great people around him so I’m really hopeful for his future.
