    Man United to Win

The WSL is in a weird place right now. It used to be Arsenal and Chelsea arguing amongst themselves. Then Man City poured money into it. Now everyone is pouring money into it, and the monotony of a Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal top-three was broken last season for the first time since 2014. The reason? Man United.

And while that might feel like we’re suggesting a straight swap, that’s just not the case. This year’s WSL can be split in two, save for one club, Liverpool.

This is the game where we learn which half of the table they can consider their genuine competition. The problem is that hammering at the hands of Chelsea in November feels far more sustainable form-wise than the shock result over Arsenal.

      Both Teams to Score

The weird thing about the WSL this year is that pretty much everyone is putting up big numbers against the weaker sides.

It has resulted in an odd situation whereby all the good teams have inflated goals for columns, and sub-one-goal-per-game tallies in the goals against margin.

That’s also going to be reflected here, as you’ll see, Liverpool have kept one clean sheet since the first week of October and United’s run of clean sheets have come against uncompetitive sides.

          Under 3.5 Goals

I love these moments. It’s taking advantage of people taking advantage of seemingly low-hanging fruit. Here are a list of the Man United Premier League games that have seen four goals this season: United 1-3 Brighton, Arsenal 3-1 United, Man United 3-2 Nottingham Forest.

What have they all got in common? They all took place before the end of September. This isn’t the end-to-end goalfest you’re expecting.

Mohamed Salah to have 2 or more Shots on Target

Mo Salah’s been held to no shots on target in just four games this season. Three of them came against Spurs, Chelsea and Man City. The other was against Luton.

Those are sides who either get overly physical, or possess the personnel to make you ineffective.

The good news for Salah? United are neither. He’s had a shot on target in twelve games and in those twelve games, he’s had multiple shots on target more often than he’s just had the one.

Luis Diaz to Commit 2 or more Fouls

Not only is Luis Diaz the player in this game who has committed the most fouls, he’s done so while playing just 927 minutes.
He’s the only player in the top sixteen of the most fouls committed list to have played less than 1,000 minutes, too.
