    Ipswich To Win

It’s finally time for the first East Anglian Derby since 2019, as Ipswich Town take on Norwich City at Portman Road.

High-flying Ipswich will look to lean on their incredible run of form to overcome their bitter rivals, having gained maximum points in their last four Championship games, including an impressive win against Watford on Tuesday night.

The Canaries, on the other hand, have struggled for consistency in a season that sees them loitering in mid-table. Ipswich have gained momentum at home, having won eight games in a row at Portman Road and should take the bragging rights in this one.

    Both Teams To Score

With both Ipswich and Norwich vying for their share of glory, goals could be on the cards at Portman Road. Ipswich are the top scorers in the league, with the likes of Conor Chaplin and Nathan Brodhead propelling their attack, but struggle to keep clean sheets at times.

Norwich City are not far behind in the goals chart after notching up the third-highest number of goals scored in the Championship.

Youngsters Johnathon Rowe and Ireland international Adam Idah lead the attacking threat for Wagner’s side with 14 goals between them this campaign.

Norwich have also scored in each of their last thirteen visits to Ipswich and I’m expecting both sides to go for it in this clash.

Sam Morsy to Commit 2 or more Fouls

Ipswich Town skipper Sam Morsy will be leading his side into battle in front of his own fans. The midfielder has a whopping nine yellow cards to his name this season as he looks to get stuck in at the anchor of the Tractor Boys Ipswich team.

Morsey has missed just one game all season, which was only as a result of a suspension and will look to get stuck into his opponents to let them know they’re playing in a hotly contested Derby.

Jonathan Rowe to have 1 or more Shots On Target

Young winger Jonathan Rowe has been in excellent form himself despite the inconsistency of the team around him.

The youngster leads the charts for goals scored at the club thanks to finding the back of the net eight times in the league. Having scored in their last game against Sheffield Wednesday, Rowe will be the biggest threat going forward for the Canaries as he looks to get in behind the Ipswich defence.

George Hirst to have 1 or more Shots On Target

Ipswich attacker George Hirst is loving his football this season, especially matches at Portman Road. The Tractor Boys forward has either scored or assisted in his last seven league games in a row in front of the home crowd, with four goals and four assists during that time.

Expect George Hirst to be heavily involved in the ‘Old Farm’ Derby as Ipswich look to continue in their push for promotion.
