Saturday 3pm Championship Acca, Leeds, Preston, Sunderland, sheffield wednesday, southampton, 15th december 2023

Saturday’s Championship Acca Betting Tips

Bristol City v Sunderland
Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Leeds v Coventry
Leeds to Win

Sheffield Wednesday v QPR
Both Teams to Score

Southampton v Blackburn
Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Preston v Watford
Both Teams to Score

Bristol City v Sunderland

Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol

Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Results haven’t been great for Bristol City of late, the Robins have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing three. At Ashton Gate however, things are rosier where they’ve won three and lost two, scoring six and conceding five.

Sunderland have improved recently, taking seven points from their last three games but their away form is suspect with just two points taken from their last five match. They had, however, won their three prior games. The Black Cats scored four over their last three so we’re expecting both teams to score and at least a third goal here.

Leeds v Coventry

Elland Road, Leeds

Leeds to Win

Leeds are undefeated over their 11 home games in all competitions this season, winning eight and drawing three. Coventry’s results have been good of late, winning three, drawing one and losing one but on the road they’re pretty awful.

The Sky Blues have won just one of their last five on their Championship jaunts, losing the other four. With Leeds’ strong home form we can only see a Home Win for this one.

      Sheffield Wednesday v QPR

      Hillsborough, Sheffield

      Both Teams to Score

Sheffield Wednesday have finally awoken from their slumber but will it be too late to save their skins? The Owls have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five in the league while on hallowed home soil share the same results.

QPR are also improving of late, winning three of their last five, drawing one and losing one but away from home have won just one, drawing one and losing three, scoring four and conceding six. Wednesday don’t keep many clean sheets, as their league position will attest, so we’re liking the value here in the Both Teams to Score market.

      Southampton v Blackburn

      St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton

Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Southampton have been dropping points of late, chalking up nine from a possible 15 over their last five Championship fixtures. At home they’re won four and drawn one, scoring a healthy nine goals while conceding three.

Blackburn are box office this season, scoring 34 and conceding 34 in the league. They’ve won three of their last five in the league, winning four of their last five on the road, scoring an impressive 13 goals. With both teams in great goal-scoring form we’re backing Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals.

      Preston v Watford

      Deepdale, Preston

      Both Teams to Score

Preston ended a four game run without a victory on Tuesday with a 1-3 win away to Huddersfield. Their home results aren’t great with just one win over their last five, drawing two and losing two, scoring seven and conceding nine.

Watford have won two, drawn two and lost two of their last five in the league while their away form has seen them winning two, drawing two and losing one, scoring four and conceding four. The hosts have failed to keep a single clean sheet over their 11 home games this season so Both Teams to Score has the value here.
