Crvena Zvezda v Man City
Champions League match at Stadion Rajko Mitic, Beograd
Wednesday, 5:45pm
TV: TNT Sports
Both Teams to Score
Manchester City have already booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League with a flawless record of five wins from five games, but Pep Guardiola’s side have not been entirely convincing.
City went behind in home games against both RB Leipzig and Red Star Belgrade and needed late away winners against Young Boys and Leipzig after conceding sloppy goals in both games.
City have conceded in four of their five Champions League games to date, while Red Star have scored in four of their five games, including both of their home games.
Having already qualified as group winners, City are highly likely to field a weakened side on Wednesday and there is a good chance that they will concede again.
However, there is almost no chance that City fail to score at the other end, regardless of the team they put out.
Red Star to Receive the Most Cards
The gulf between City and Red Star in terms of points is matched only by the gulf in their disciplinary records.
A huge 14 points separate City and Red Star in group G, while 13 yellow cards separate them in the disciplinary rankings.
City boast the best disciplinary record in Europe so far this season, picking up just four bookings in five Champions League games.
Red Star, on the other hand, have picked up the fourth-most cards in the competition, collecting 17 bookings in five games.
They will almost certainly receive more yellow cards than City on Wednesday.

Red Star to Commit 13 or More Fouls
Following on from that, Red Star are additionally likely to commit at least 13 fouls.
The Serbian side rank eighth in Europe in terms of fouls per game, committing an average of 12.2 fouls per Champions League outing this season.
City, meanwhile, have drawn an average of 12.4 fouls per game in Europe this season, the fifth-highest average in the Champions League this season.
It is entirely plausible to think that Red Star will be drawn into a number of fouls on Wednesday evening considering they are up against a side full of fleet-footed attackers that likes to dominate the ball.
Man City to Have Nine or More Shots on Target
But for Red Star goalkeeper Omri Glazer, the reverse fixture between these sides could have ended in a cricket score.
Glazer made a string of incredible saves to keep City out in the first half and, for a moment, looked to have inspired the Serbian side to a famous win before City clicked into gear in the second half.
City registered a whopping 16 shots on target in that game, and average over 10 shots on target per game in the Champions League this season, the highest average in the competition.
Red Star have faced 42 shots on target in their five games and it is entirely conceivable that they will reach 50 shots on target for the competition when City come to town on Wednesday.
Julian Alvarez to Have Two or More Shots on Target
It has been a difficult few weeks for Julian Alvarez after an incredibly strong start to the season.
Alvarez has produced several underwhelming performances in recent weeks, which has coincided with a downturn in City’s form.
The Argentinian forward has only scored once in his last nine games for City and will be desperate to get on the scoresheet in Belgrade.
That one goal did come in the Champions League, a competition that Alvarez has done well in this season.
The Argentinian forward has scored four times in the competition this season and averages 2.8 shots per game.
Guardiola may give him a start on Wednesday to help him rediscover his form and he should be desperate to seize the opportunity.
