Getafe v Valencia

Coventry v Birmingham

The Coventry Building Society Arena, Coventry
TV: Sky Sports Main Event

Over 2.5 Goals

Three of Coventry’s last five Championship games have seen at least three goals while for Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham we’ve seen at least three goals in four of their last five in the league.

Things haven’t been as entertaining when the Sky Blues have been playing at home but the away side have conceded 15 over over their last six away fixtures. They’ve scored four over their last three on their travels too so while results aren’t going their way they are, at least, scoring.

We can certainly see both teams scoring here and at least a third goal.

    Coventry to Win

We’re going to give that third goal to the hosts. They’ve won two of their last three in the Championship while at home have proven tough to beat, winning two, drawing two and losing just one.

Rooney’s Blues have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing two and losing two but away from home haven’t won since beating Bristol City back in mid August, a run of seven games where they’ve picked up zero points so we have to back Coventry to Win.

      Montpellier v Lens

Stade de la Mosson-Mondial 98, Montpellier
      TV: TNT Sports

      Lens to Win

Montpellier have won none of their last five games, drawing two and losing three while at home in Ligue Un have won one, drawn three and lost one. Lens, meanwhile, have won three and lost two of their last five in all competitions with both losses coming in the Champions League, losing to both PSV and Arsenal on their travels.

Their league form however is impressive, going nine games without defeat, winning four of their last five, drawing the other, winning three of those without conceding.

The hosts have only scored in two of their last five in the league and with Lens keeping so many clean sheets of late, we’re taking the value in the away side’s price to win.

      Getafe v Valencia

      Estadio Coliseum, Getafe
      TV: Viaplay

      Over 2.5 Goals

It’s 10th v 9th here in La Liga and we should see a decent amount of goals. The hosts have scored seven over their last five at home in the league while Valencia have scored five over their recent league excursions.

We’re looking at the Over 2.5 Goals price here though because Valencia have been conceding a ridiculous amount on their travels recently, shipping a total of 13 over their last five away league fixtures. With both teams in decent goal-scoring form and the away side conceding so many we should see at least three goals here.

        Getafe to Win

Getafe haven’t lost at home in the league since April, a run of 10 games where they’ve won six and drawn four. Valencia have won just one of their last 10 on their league travels so it’s hard to see them getting the three points on offer.

The away side have only won on one of their last eight trips to Getafe and with their results of late, we’re getting plenty of value in a Getafe to Win pick.
